Brooklyngirl Records is proud to release Carrie Mills' debut album "Looking Through Windows." A New York native, Carrie Mills has spent the last 8 years of her musical journey residing in Nashville, TN. Carrie has toured the globe, performing in the clubs of London to the desert resort town of Eilat. She has performed solo, as a duo and with her band worldwide.Carrie (known at the time as Carrie Starner) has been a featured artist in the TV documentary "Rap to Rock." She was a featured guest in NYC on WBAI radio and on London radio. Her lyrics have been published in two of Sheila Davis's acclaimed books on lyric writing. She has been the recipient of numerous Billboard Song Contest awards, and was a finalist in Musician Magazine's Best Unsigned Band contest. She has collaborated with many of Nashville's hit songwriters and has had her song's recorded by Karyn Black on her debut album "Beneath the Sheltering Sky." Produced by Clay Mills, Carrie Mill's debut album "Looking Through Windows" is a poignant collection of songs.
